The Role:

We are looking for a Client Contact to join our Rental Operations team at Panalux in Cardiff!

Your responsibilities will include:

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for gaffers, electricians, and production companies. You'll ensure client satisfaction by:

  • Handle client inquiries, manage accounts, and provide quotes for lighting & electrical equipment rentals.
  • Oversee the daily needs of productions, handle crew scheduling, and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Build strong relationships with freelancers and ensure fair work distribution.
  • Provide technical support, collaborate with internal departments (Operations, Rentals), and manage equipment returns.
  • Anticipate issues during production, recommend equipment upgrades, and gather client feedback.
  • Support the Panavision side of the branch with client enquiries, equipment/inventory management and additional duties when required.
  • Provide on-hand support for the operations department, including equipment deliveries in company vehicles when necessary.
  • Support the Branch Supervisor with administrative tasks to fulfil the day-to-day operations of the Cardiff branch.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Valid driver's license for occasional transportation of equipment is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are essential to liaise effectively with clients, crew, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records.
  • Experience in lighting/equipment rentals or a related field would be a valuable asset.
