They will be supervising the group that provides technical support for up to 600 end users across 15 offices in the US and Canada. The Cable Service Technician is a Full Time position responsible for servicing and maintaining our HD Digital and Analog cable inventory. This person will coordinate with the department Lead to test and build cable assemblies to supplied drawings.
Maintain Storeroom in every aspect. Monitor access to Storeroom and gear at all times. Receive and inspect equipment into Storeroom. Ensure equipment (including case) is clean and complete. Identify items missing from cases and rectify.
The objectives of this department are to ensure that equipment is scheduled, sourced, and ready for the Client’s prep and/ or shipment. Process new orders and maintain existing jobs.
The Lens Optimization Technician is responsible for assembling and performing Quality Control for very high precision lenses to obtain the highest achievable MTF and image quality. Ideal candidate will, in addition to skills noted below, be able to suggest improvement to existing methods for mechanical and optical designs. This includes working with design engineers at all phases of the product realization process.
Perform maintenance duties so that the operations and environment of the facilities are conducive to Panavision’s high standard set for its employees and customer base.
